Getting Internet in the Middle of Nowhere With Dejero (AHA)
Welcome back to another episode of the American Hardwood Advisor! Today, Steve Stack is going to take a back seat to let James Kay and Eric Toenjes from Dejero tell you about the company and how they help bring internet connectivity to job sites, no matter how remote the location.
Dejero’s innovative connectivity solutions are transforming construction job sites by providing reliable internet access and real-time data transfer in remote or temporary locations where traditional infrastructure is unavailable. Using Dejero Smart Blending Technology, Dejero aggregates multiple IP connections—such as LTE, Wi-Fi, broadband, and satellite—into a single, robust "network of networks." This ensures high-quality, uninterrupted connectivity even in challenging environments.
For construction teams, reliable connectivity is critical for coordinating operations, accessing plans, and managing workflows. The Dejero Gateway acts as a network aggregation device, delivering greater bandwidth to enable smooth communication, remote monitoring, and secure data exchange. This functionality supports cloud-based applications, live video streaming for site inspections, and the transfer of large files like blueprints or 3D models. Additionally, real-time data capabilities enhance situational awareness, ensuring that project updates and decisions are made with minimal latency.
Devices such as the Dejero EnGo 3, a mobile video transmitter, are ideal for capturing and transmitting real-time video from job sites. This capability is crucial for project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to monitor progress remotely. Paired with Dejero Control, users can manage and monitor connectivity and devices effortlessly from a centralized platform.

1,600 Square Foot Mobile Home Renovation (With Kevin Tarkovich) | AHA
When the Renovation Hunters team first arrived at this modular home, they knew transforming it would be a challenge. The 1600-square-foot fixer-upper had accumulated lots of damage over the years, and the crew found more mobile home updates as they went.
For the Clear family, this camp-style double-wide mobile home was a vacation property tied to their father’s legacy. When he lost his battle to ALS, going to the beloved but old mobile home was tough. Our goal was to change that – and we did!
Watch as Steve Stack sits down with Kevin Tarkovich, Renovation Hunters’ lead contractor, to discuss the project, including the family’s touching story. We chat about all the love, sweat and tears that went into the mobile home renovation upgrade, including several of our high-quality materials.

Whether you’re working with a single-wide mobile home or a double-wide design with lackluster style, these types of unique upgrades result in a dream home look! Each home improvement can be a great DIY project for any manufactured home, and we’re happy to be part of giving the Clear family a beautiful way to visit and relax!

Taking a Home Remodeling Show to the Next Level (with Hal Shaffer) | AHA
Welcome to another episode of the American Hardwood Advisor podcast, hosted by Steve Stack! Today, Steve is joined by Hal Shaffer, the host of the Outdoor Channel’s home renovation show, Renovation Hunters. However, home improvement is not the only focus in Hal Shaffer’s, or the rest of the Renovation Hunters crew’s minds.
Yes, interior design trends, home decor, real estate development, and home building in general are all a major part of this whole operation. With that said, though, the crew of Renovation Hunters feels that the biggest contributor to their love of the show is their experience with the homeowners.
Every home project, big or small, is going to have road bumps along the way that turn a home makeover into a hassle. This never gets under their skin though, because they are motivated to come to their home town, and turn a fixer upper into a dream home for each and every family that they meet in this journey. It’s hard to be upset about roofing when you adore the people you’re doing it for.
Because of meeting a homeowner with ALS, Renovation Hunters partnered with the ALS Foundation, and is planning to take part in more charity work going forward. The people that the cast and crew meet along the way with this home improvement show are having a major impact, not just on the home design, but the show itself and how we are giving back to the community.

Deep Dive Into the Linesville Home Remodel (with Christy Miller) | AHA
Welcome back to the American Hardwood Advisor podcast! Today, Steve Stack is joined by Christy Miller to discuss the Renovation Hunters house remodeling project in Linesville, Pennsylvania. While not as troublesome a makeover as some past home improvement projects had been, this one came with its own challenges, such as working with the limited square footage and abnormal floor plan, that made the final product that much more rewarding.
The Linesville home saw many upgrades w that the crew was proud of, as they attempted to focus on both aesthetics and functionality. The kitchen remodel was a particular triumph for them, as it had been taken down to the bare bones and redone. Starting off from any empty room with nothing but drywall. New countertops, cabinetry, light fixtures, and new tables and benches for the dining room area were all amazing remodeling ideas that the crew was able to come up with.
The living room also became a crucial part of the home design, with new casings and baseboards throughout the whole house, and other pieces of interior design that made the house look like a brand new home that the homeowners adore.
Last but not least, a personal favorite home addition for this renovation project, the new master bedroom for the grandmother of the family. With a big family in a small home, it is hard to find some time for yourself. With this addition, the hardworking grandmother has her own living space that gives her some privacy, while still giving her easy access to the rest of the home if she is needed.

Reflecting on 2 Years of Renovation Hunters (With Christy Miller) | AHA
A lot has happened over the past two seasons of Renovation Hunters. Sure, home improvement is an important aspect of the experience, but the most rewarding part of the TV show is spending time with the homeowners and learning about their family traditions! In fact, that’s been the ultimate prize for Steve, Christy, host Hal Shaffer and the rest of the talented crew of Renovation Hunters.
Today on American Hardwood Advisor, Steve Stack sits down with Christy Miller to talk about their life-changing experiences working on the show. From Critz, to Tionesta, to Baldwin to Linesville, these two have been part of remodels across the nation, along with spreading love for an outdoor lifestyle.
Showing up on set at these job sites for meaningful conversations with people from different walks of life makes the crew’s motivations clear: give these people their dream home away from home. Turning these fixer-uppers into amazing vacation camps for the next generation of family members is what makes these home renovations worth it.

Renovation Hunters Linesville Project Deep Dive (With Host Hal Shaffer!) | AHA
Welcome back to the American Hardwood Advisor podcast! In this episode, Steve Stack sits down with the host of Outdoor Channel’s premier home renovation TV show, Renovation Hunters. Hal Shaffer and Steve Stack talk about their experience with the crew’s project in Linesville, Pennsylvania, and some of their big takeaways from their time on-set.
Taking properties that have seen better days and turning them into dream homes and vacation camps with the talented crew of Renovation Hunters is only one piece of the overall experience for those involved. If you ask Shaffer, among many others, the biggest impact on them is the families themselves.
Learning about the family, their history, family traditions, etc., it is clear that it becomes about more than just home improvement or a job site for this renovation show – it becomes about delivering for a family that deserves something wonderful, and that not only they can enjoy, but that the next generations can enjoy as well.
Check out Renovation Hunters Season 2, which takes the crew to Hiwassee, Virginia; Baldwin, Michigan; and Linesville, Pennsylvania. The crew puts a focus on not just remodeling these homes, but allowing the owners of these fixer-uppers to embrace the outdoor lifestyle.
